One Lucky Little Naval Rookie!

I’ve been stalling taking out her last fighter plane for 25 minutes while she *finally* finds and sinks my Battleship!

    1. I thought the same when we opened it! Plus I was like damn this is WAY better than the tiny clicky clack *travel* version of Battleship me and my brother had a hundred years ago!

        1. Clue is the best! We have junior as well which basically just gives you the choice to take out some of the variables. But, always a favorite!

            1. I did one of those in St. Louis at Christmas one year ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I was more of an observer not participating as much as some of the others but I did get to hazard guesses and propose my theories as a non acting bystander!!

I do agree.. u have to make them win sometimes and enjoy watching the thrill they get from whooping you..

I love when they feel so happy to be the conquerorโ€ฆ

  6. That really is true love. And yes it is okay to ‘let’ your babies win every once in a while. Society won’t fall to pieces despite popular opinionโค

        1. I know! Lololll. I was thinking yesterday how did we even look up places to visit before the net. My first thought was Mapquest ๐Ÿ˜‚ Then I realized NO! That’s the web! So before that, i don’t know, I guess we just threw darts at a map.

          1. Yes no doubt. We were so deprived. I mean as a child we actually had to play outside when it was hot or cold. And we actually had to hold a conversation with someone…. Face to face…. Arrgggggghhh the torment lol. Actually there are times I wish life was bit less hectic and social media was not so important. But there are some advantages to the internet. Without WordPress i would not have the opportunity to have a conversation with you. Or any of the friends I have made and never have met. It is sort of amazing actually.

            1. Yes, ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค— Exactly! I fully agree! And it’s totally taken for granted by all the kiddos today. Mine can’t even believe that there used to be no way to contact someone…if they were away from their home, that was it!

            2. yes. now that my kids are older and go out and about I can contact them or tell them to come home. but my parents ….. how did they handle it. I mean we would go out and would have no contact with them till we made it home. I would have worried myself to death. I think the Lord knew I needed to be born in this era LOL

            3. Yes, I remember the dreaded CALL ME WHEN YOU GET HOME!…Then me forgetting and causing a world of worry! Now they could be anywhere but theres a million ways to at least know they’re “okay” ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ
