The Sorta Black & White, Part Deux

What was, admittedly, about a week ago now, my friend, Janie (peek in on her here!) tagged me in the B&W photo challenge. Everyone knows how these work in the Normal Human World, but now would be a good time to point out that I have a totally different map of that place!

Pictures without explanation?! Preposterous!

Waiting seven days?! Inconceivable!

No people?!…Okay, yes, the introvert says that part’s fine.

A few days ago, my daughter and I took a jaunt to our science museum for the day. Not only a fun time, but, the results were perfect for this challenge.

Thermal Room ‘Performance Art’…Street Theater, what have you

The museum is housed inside the city’s original Fire House. This is an unfiltered photo of the building that hangs on the wall in the snack area. It shows the firemen, in 1905, and the facade of this now historic building that has never been altered. The photo that follows that is a picture displayed of those firemen at a dinner in the meal hall where we were presently sitting having popcorn and juice!

Now the Silver Tuna. Something, something, something! *musics to builds to a crescendo…ending on the right foot* and, STRIKE A FOSSE!

  1. What a cool old building. Great pics, as always! You have a great eye for the pics!!
    I think B & W is better a lot of times. It’s more dramatic.
Science museums are so much fun! And it’s okay to go with people to science museums. When I go to art museums, I usually go alone. I get drawn to pieces and want to spend time with them… I’m “too slow” for others, so I go solo.

    1. It’s a great idea that they’ve displayed all these in the places they were taken. Its such an old city and its easy to forget how many of the buildings are still originals! It’s a cool place too because as the name implies, it’s Hands On. All the experiments are set up for everyone to try and theyve added a new water room which we got to try for the first time. Yes, i havent taken her back to the art museum since she was 3 and i took a picture of her in front of the sign that said ‘no photography’ and ‘do not touch’…while she was in a photo clearly touching πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  2. Sam! I love the photos and thanks for taking the challenge. I didn’t get a pingback but I think you have to actually choose a post to pingback directly even though before we could simply pingback the blog in general (home page). Either way, I appreciate it and loved the photos! Have a happy Sunday!
