I’m going to go out on a limb today, because, although I feel I haven’t got a whole lot else to lose or sacrifice, I’m going to take the opportunity to also say how grateful I actually am for that at this point in my life. So…we’re going to put this in a positive light, instead.
So, this is something I do every year that I thought I would share. The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn is one of my favorite places here and they host the Maker Faire every summer. The museum itself is home to an amazing automotive and industrial history all year round. My favorite exhibit is the freestanding recreation of a Las Vegas hotel room in the early 60’s! 😍 Greenfield Village is fun too, but it’s a little hot to walk around for street theater, and speeches about the Wright Brothers and butter churning. When I care about someone, I like to share *with* them the things that bring me happiness. I look at it as pieces of my heart I can give to them. Things that others might not necessarily know. There’s a little independent bookstore in town that I’ve been going to since I moved here. Think You‘ve Got Mail. Bigger than The Shop Around the Corner…smaller than Fox Books…
